How it works
The tool subtracts today's calendar date from the date you enter. Because it only compares dates, not clock times, “days until” never changes in the middle of the day and never depends on your time zone.
If the date is in the past the heading switches to “days since”. The breakdown shows the same gap as weeks and as years, months and days. To measure between two fixed dates use Days Between Dates Calculator; to move a date forward by a set period use Date Calculator: Add or Subtract Time.
